New Year, New Goals

I've never been one for setting goals and resolutions in during the new years, but I'm going to try and start. I think having achievable goals written down and visible should help me to actually try and achieve them. I get so lost in other things (side quests, we call them) that I lose sight in the things I want to improve on. With my family homeschooling and me trying out this business-thing, I'm thinking maybe now is the time to start trying to actually organize my life.

Whenever I sit down to write out everything that needs to be done, my thoughts are chaotic and bouncing around all over the place. I have such a hard time focusing on one thing at a time, but I'm hoping creating these nifty templates and printouts will help me out just a little bit. I need to work on the follow-through, and that's where prayer and faith comes in. If I focus on the correct things in the correct order then maybe I can do it right this time!

Thinking back to when I was in school, I loved notebooks and stationary! I don't think I really knew how to put it to good use, but I loved it so much. That love has been transferred to creating my own stationary, and now I kind of know how to use it! (Haha) Sometimes I wish I had been more aware of my shortcomings and limits when I was a teenager, but you know teens: all indestructible. I'm hoping I can organize my thoughts and use my experiences with self-discovery and faith in God to help my own kids as they become teens. Also hoping all that wisdom kicks in real soon, 'cause we have a preteen among us!
