My for real whole list of must-have Amazon items that help me in my creative outlets.

If I don't love it, I don't recommend it!
I know I'm not any kind of influencer, and I'm okay with that. However, I am a person with opinions, and I do like to share them! I have been crocheting for about 6 or so years, and I absolutely love it! I've also dabbled in a LOT of other crafts that I fall in love with, too. Having those creative outlets is what has always gotten me through my periods of anxiety and depression. Creating things is absolutely my favorite thing in the world to do, next to spending time with my family... Though, sometimes that makes me want to go off by myself and crochet... Haha.
All that being said, I have used a LOT of different crafting materials. I would love to share them with you in a few different blog posts. I want to help others find good stuff (and yes, also try and get a little money out of my opinions because I like to try and help finance our lives).
In Audrey's Crochet Amazon List blog post I'll post everything I can think of that makes my crochet life easier! I'll post crochet items I've used and fell in love with (while probably mentioning a few I despised).
In another post I'll talk about circular knitting machines and materials I use to make adorable machine-knit items!
Now that all that is done, let's get started on the list.
First up, my crochet hooks.
I just recently got these for Mother's Day, and I can't believe I've gone so long without them! I loved my other ones, which were similar, but the hook would constantly slide out of the grip. So far, no issues with this set! They also came with this awesome pouch, which I'm also wondering how I've survived without! I love, love, LOVE it! It holds all of my things with no issue. (Check out the video: https://youtu.be/B6aLk3klv50 )

Scissors
I have used many, many scissors over the years. Ilike the ones with springs, hate the ones with covers or pouches. I feel like they need to be accessible and ready to go! These have got to be my favorites. They have held up so well over the years. They're a little pricey, but absolutely worth it!
Find 'em here:
Needles
For my needles, I like to have two different kinds on hand. The typical tapestry needles, and some embroidery needles. I love to sew the faces onto my little stuffies, and the embroidery needles make it so much easier to do!

Stitch Markers
Up until I bought new markers, I used bobby pins. I had a few issues with those, like they were too long or they would come out of the stitch easily. I've used plastic stitch markers, but never really fell in love with them. I still have a few and might grab one to use occasionally, but I much prefer these metal ones! They slide through the yarn easier, are thinner, they're smaller. There are lots in a pack so things can be color-coded if you need that.
Find them below:
Compression Gloves
My hands don't always hurt when I crochet, but if I'm using a small (size 3) hook, or a thick yarn, or a hook without a grip then after a while I have to rest my hands and arms.
These gloves have truly made it so much easier to get through a thick blanket, or a tight-tensioned dish cloth. There's not zero pain or soreness, but there is significantly less.

Mechanical Pencils
I know, I know. I thought this was a crochet list? It is.
I originally bought these for my son and I after we had been homeschooling for a while, but they quickly became my favorite pencils. I have to have one in my crochet bag, because who knows when you're gonna need to write down pattern steps, or row counts, etc. This pack has been one of the best purchases I've made crochet-wise and homeschool-wise.

Notebooks
For the same reason that you should have a pencil by your side, you need a notebook. One that's JUST for crochet. I love the small, spiralbound, lined notebooks. They're simple to carry, easy to store, cute. So useful!

Crochet Bags
I have a couple bags, and I like both of them for different reasons.
The purple one is great! Lots of space and pockets, and great for traveling for a several-day trip where you'll need a few skeins of yarn and more materials. I use it for storage right now, until we take a long trip where I plan on crocheting.
The teal one is best for short trips, like going to the park to watch your kids play. Or maybe to the doctor's office. It has plenty of pockets and even a little bag to put more hooks and such in.
I love them both.
Here they are:
Those are a few of the things that I cannot do without. When I sit down to work, I make absolutely certain that I have all of these things within reach, because I just know I'm going to need them all before I'm finished with whatever project I'm working on.
Below, I'll add the patterns for a few of the pictured items, which are all mine and for sale! I'll also add the link to My Crochet Project Canva Template, which I also love to have nearby when I work on a project. It's just a simple template where I can jot down my start and stop times whenever I'm making something that will eventually be for sale.
I hope y'all like this list and that it helps you out! Whether you're just a beginner or have done this for 50 years, it's always good to hear what items work for some, because they may work for you, too!
God bless and thank y'all so much for the support!!
