These simple little thank you notes are sure to make the Airbnb owner feel good about their decision to turn their home into a rental for families like yours. Whether you see them or not, it's always nice to say "thank you."
I was inspired to leave one of these Airbnb thank you notes on our last trip to Tybee Island, outside of Savanna, Ga (our FAVORITE). The owner was so sweet and kept in touch, giving me information and letting me know where the best beaches were, places to eat, that she would be happy to let us use her beach items, etc. So sweet! This is also where James the Sea Turtle was born. I left the prototype I created as a thank you for hosting myself and my two kids.
I know there are many conflicting opinions about STR properties, but they are a great way for my family to vacation, as we have two boys (toddler & preteen) and we can't get comfortable at a hotel. And where we sleep and hang out means a LOT to our family. I know you can't always leave a thank you note for the owner, either, as not every owner is in the same vicinity as the house. It is still a great practice to leave a note of appreciation (and possibly a tip for the cleaning crew).
Even if your host isn't going to be at the property, you can download this as a photo and send it to their email or post it on the Airbnb/Vrbo app! Any way to express your appreciation is... appreciated!
These are so simple and easy (and adorable), any Airbnb owner would be grateful for the effort you made (You may also get a good review on the app, which doesn't hurt). Just print, cut and leave it on a table. Easy!
